Applications for funding are open January 1 through April 1 each year. Please check back in 2025!
2024 Applicants will be notified of our decision by mid-June.
The Transformative Freedom Fund’s intent is to create the greatest impact in Colorado with the resources available knowing that everyone is deserving but there are limitations to what we can provide that are outside of our control. We strive everyday to reduce those limitations, but until we can, we all need to support each other with the resources we have access to. If your request is not funded in this cycle, we invite you to reapply next cycle if you still have a financial need.
Selection Criteria
Priority for funding is directed towards older adults over 60, youth up to 24, trans women of color, those with substantial financial need, and those with struggles with safety (rural areas, lack of family/community)
Transformative Freedom Fund is currently only awarding grants to Colorado residents.
The Board of Directors of the Transformative Freedom Fund will review all applications and come to a consensus decision of approval of applicants based on the following categories:
The organization’s current financial capacity
Priority areas
Impact to individual and community
Need (both financial and personal)
Type of financial support being requested (is it something we are committed to funding)
Making sure we are providing support in an intersectional manner
